1. Who we are
Mumbai Air AC Services ("Mumbai Air", "we", "us") provides air-conditioner service, repair, installation and maintenance across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. This policy explains how we handle your personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable Indian law.
2. Data we collect
When you use our booking or contact form we collect: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), AC type, the service you need, any message you write, and the page you submitted from. If you call or WhatsApp us, we receive the details you share during that conversation. We do not collect account passwords, payment card details or government identifiers through this website.
3. Why we use it
We process this data with your consent, given when you submit the form, solely to: call you back, schedule and deliver the service you asked for, and maintain basic service records. We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
4. Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered to our inbox through EmailJS, a transactional email processor, and are visible to our scheduling team and the technician assigned to your job. These parties process the data only to provide the service.
5. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We use only essential browser storage: a single local-storage entry that remembers your response to our privacy notice. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent first.
6. How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting requirements, after which they are deleted.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may: request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for correction or erasure, withdraw consent at any time, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. 8. Security
We limit access to your data to the people who need it to serve you, use reputable providers for transmission, and apply input validation and rate limiting on our forms to prevent abuse.
9. Children
Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
